V-Shooting tournament series rules

 

  1. Qualification round

1.1 The number of qualifying places will be determined by the total number of competitors in the category

1.2 Competitors will be divided by region as follows: Africa, America, Asia and Oceania, Europe

1.3 Each region will be allocated qualifying places according to the percentage of participation in the category

1.4 Each competitor will shoot three shooting series, all three times and the number of shots will add up. Time is calculated to one decimal place

 

EXAMPLE

 

U11 has a total of 100 competitors from all regions. 10 are from Asia, 20 from Europe, 30 from America, 40 from Africa. We have a total of 32 places per 100 competitors. The distribution of places is as follows:

 

Asia 3 (10%, 3.2, rounded down to 3)

Europe 6 (20%, which is 6.4, rounded down to 6)

America 10 (30%, which is 9.6, rounded up to 10)

Africa 13 (40%, which is 12.8, rounded up to 13)

  1. Final round (elimination)

 

2.1 The final round is an elimination round. There are always two competitors. The competitor with the better three times and thus won three points will advance to the next stage. Elimination continues until there is a winner.

2.2 The order from the third to the last place (depending on the number of competitors in the elimination round) of the elimination round is determined by the sum of the times in the elimination part

2.3 The complaint must be lodged no later than 15 minutes after the match in which the situation to which the complaint relates has occurred.

2.4 Competitors are placed against each other according to the times achieved in the qualifying round as follows – best against the worst, second best against the penultimate, etc.

 

  1. Point system

 

3.1 World Ranking points are distributed among all competitors in a given category according to their overall ranking after the end of the current tournament.

3.2 The points in the regional ranking are divided according to the ranking in the overall ranking of the competitors in the current tournament.

3.3 The total placement of the competitor will be decided by the sum of three shooting times. If some participants have the same time, the total number of shots decides. If it is the same, the best of the three times decides.

3.4 Points are awarded according to the attached table. Everyone from the 32nd position and worse always gets one point.

  1. World finals

 

4.1 The World Final is a tournament for the best athletes from each category in the regional rankings

4.1.1 The number of qualifying places will depend on the total number of competitors in each category

4.1.2 Each region will be allocated seats according to the percentage of participation in the category

4.2 The World Finals are an elimination tournament. There are always two participants shooting. The competitor with a better sum of three times and thus three points won, advances to the next stage.

4.3 The winner will be determined by the last stage with the last two competitors. The winner must have a better sum of three shots and therefore three points won.

4.4 The third place in each category will be determined in the match between the competitors who lost their matches in the semifinals. To win third place, the competitor must have a better sum of three shooting times and thus three points won

4.5 The top three ranking tournaments count as qualifiers for the World Finals
